This piece has been a labour of love.
Given a blank picture frame by my wife, I was challenged to ‘make something I would love to see on the wall’.
This is the result, and it’s huge.
I am very pleased to present my Millennium Falcon limited edition print, entitled “Pirate Ship” (much thanks to my brother Pete for the name).
After getting a great response from the images I posted online, I have decided to make a limited number of prints of this piece available to buy.
Here are a few details:-
A limited edition print, limited to 100 pieces.
The print size is 70cm x 100cm. It’s printed on 200GSM Silk Finish poster paper, using eco-friendly latex ink.
To add a unique element to every individual print, each one is then worked on by hand, using metallic ink to highlight various elements of the Falcon’s details. Because of the nature of this process, each individual piece will be slightly different from each other, adding to the uniqueness of your version.
Every print is hand-signed and given a unique number, along with a certificate of authenticity, created and signed by the artist, and can be posted out for delivery internationally.
“Pirate Ship” is priced at £175.
This price does not include postage. I plan on sending these out in sturdy postal tubes using Royal Mail Special Delivery for UK purchases (£7.25), and Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed for outside the UK (£14.95).
I’m working on dropping into the shop section of this site, but in the meantime, if you’re interested, just drop me an email and I’ll get back to you with the details. I can take Paypal or bank transfer – whichever you prefer.
I will also be selling this print at various UK Comic Conventions, so please contact me if you would like to pre-order one and pick it up at any events I’ll be attending (I’ll post about them on my Facebook page).
Failing that, if you fancy picking one up from my place, you’ll probably get a coffee and a few biscuits thrown in with the deal.
I’ll also occasionally be selling a framed version for £250 from my table at Comic Cons. I won’t be able to post out a framed version unfortunately, as I don’t think my arms are long enough to actually wrap it up :)
I’m extremely happy to say that I have already sold a few of these, and the feedback has been great.
Any questions or enquiries about this piece, please feel free to get in touch by emailing me at firstname.lastname@example.org or you can contact me through Facebook if you prefer.
I’m really pleased with this piece, and I hope other fans of Solo’s ride get to enjoy it too.
